Dear Members,
first I want to apologize that I can't talk to you in Swedish.
We want to thank you a lot for your support and customer loyality.
As you may should know is, that we have in Germany a tax of 7% on silver what we have to pay to our state.
There is a maximum limit in Euro amount of silver what we can deliver to Sweden for 7% tax. After we received this limit (it's only 34.000 Euro) ,
we are not able to deliver any longer to Sweden for 7% and we have to block all orders coming from Sweden. We apologize a lot for this
and searching for any solutions to avoid this blocking.
Maybe you can help us and give us some ideas?

Nice to see you responded to my email and decided to register here. We are aware of the export limits, but I didn't know it was as low as 34k euros. Anyway, some other companies in the same business has solved this by hiring an external delivery company (UPS or similiar) take care of the transports to other countries. What do you think about that, is it something Silber-Werte could manage to get around the limits?

Hm, I can't imagine this. The problem is, that on the invoice the delivery address is mentioned "Sweden" and then we have to take care about the limit of Euro 34.000,-.
It doesn't matter what transport company you choose. We are working with FedEx.
We have to find a partner with a VAT no in Sweden.
If we have this, there is not limit to take care off.

I believe that the procedure is that the costumer chooses "Pick up" (Selbstabholer) as method of delievery, but instead of travelling to in this case Germany personally the customer hires a third party delivery company (UPS, DHL etc). I believe that from your point of view this will look like a legal over-the-counter sell.
A second idea is that we arrange some kind of group pick up, the trip Gothenburg-Kiel-Hamburg isn't the most formidable journey mankind has engaged in the quest for silver...

Hi Ulli and welcome to the forum.

It's like what baltikinkasso says, take a look at what coininvestdirect is doing, they have a setup with viamat international wherby a customer instructs viamat to pickup the order and send it to them.

Their process is not that easy though and there is rather hefty, additional fees involved.

Such process needs to be streamlined, where i, as a customer place an order at silber-werte, choose pick-up and then gets directed to a deliverers site and just fills in the invoicenumber and they get my customerinformation automatically, picks up my package and send it to me.

Ounce the structure for this is in place, it should be easy to execute.

It could be as easy as this.

The vat rules applies to the company that sells & shipps the orders, right?

So, you open up a branch that deals with shipping only, "SW-shipping".

Once i have purchased my "pick-up" silver, i go to the branchwebsite, fill in the invoicenumber and adress information and tick a "pick-up" order box.

The branch now collects my order, hand it over to dhl, ups or whatever and they send it as usuall.

Voila, problem solved.

Silber-Werte can SELL as much "pick-up" silver they want to Sweden.
SW-shipping can pickup and deliver all that silver via UPS, DHL because that companybranch didn't sell the silver so the rules does not apply.

Of course there would be a fee associated at the pick up branch, "to pay for it" so to speak.

I would just say thanks to your team, especially Ms. Schultz for handling my last order. There was an issue with the order nos. but we got it solved with co-operation and google-translate.

no, there is no limitation on Gold, because Gold is tax free.
